ERIC FOLTIN

I'm Eric Foltin. I live in Ohio, work as a Meals on Wheels driver, and spend an unreasonable amount of my free time messing with computers, websites, cameras, old technology, and whatever else happens to catch my attention.

I'm a Gen X human who grew up around technology that actually made you learn how things worked. DOS, CRT monitors, physical media, dial-up, Linux, command lines and websites that looked like somebody actually built them instead of feeding a template into a corporate content machine.

I like HTML, Linux, photography, geocaching, punk rock, old computers, weird websites and figuring things out myself.

This site is basically my corner of the internet. No influencer bullshit. No personal brand strategy. No inspirational quotes pretending everybody wakes up at 5 AM and becomes a millionaire before breakfast. Just things I'm interested in, things I'm working on, things I've found interesting, and whatever happens to be occupying my brain at the time.

The site itself is intentionally minimal, a little hostile, and heavily influenced by the old web, terminal interfaces, brutalist design, dystopian computer systems, and the general aesthetic of a machine that probably shouldn't have been connected to the internet in the first place.
